Born and raised in Oasis, California, Jimmie’s journey through USL League One with Chattanooga Red Wolves and Forward Madison FC highlights the incredible talent emerging from the Coachella Valley. Now, he’s bringing his experience, leadership, and creativity to AV Alta FC as we prepare for an exciting season ahead.

The 24-year-old Colombian defender has captained at Tigres FC and excelled in anchoring backlines with his defensive strength and ball-playing ability. Miguel is ready to make a big impact this season as he takes on the challenge with AV ALTA FC.

Acuna arrives after a standout collegiate career at the University of North Florida, where he netted 20 goals and captained UNF to its first-ever ASUN Conference title in his senior year. His leadership and goal-scoring ability make him a dangerous threat in the final third as he transitions to the professional level.

Osvaldo Lay, a talented 21-year-old Panamanian midfielder known for his energy, versatility, and competitive edge.

In 2024, Osvaldo had a standout season, earning a spot on the Panama U-23 national team and playing a key role in leading Sporting San Miguelito to the Panamanian first-division playoffs. With his athleticism, balanced skill set, and international experience, he’s ready to make an impact in the 661.

 A talented goalkeeper, Denzil brings exceptional shot-stopping reflexes, bravery, and a wealth of international experience to the team.
The 24-year-old Trinidad and Tobago national team player has competed in World Cup qualifiers and CONCACAF Nations League matches against top-tier opponents, proving himself on the big stage. Domestically, Denzil showcased his talent with AC Port of Spain, champions of the Trinidad league. He is ready to take on new challenges with AV ALTA FC this season.

𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗻: Santa Flora, Trinidad and Tobago

The center back from Svilengrad, Bulgaria, brings extensive experience from the Bulgarian First Division. Starting his professional career at just 16, Kaloyan has played for top clubs, including CSKA-Sofia, Krumovgrad, and most recently, Hebar. Known for his defensive prowess, athleticism, and line-breaking pass, Kaloyan is a dynamic addition to our backline.

Jerry Desdunes, a dynamic Haitian winger known for his speed, skill, and creativity in the final third.
Jerry began his pro career with San Diego 1904 before moving to Northern Colorado Hailstorm in the USL, where he made 25 appearances. Last season, he showcased his talent with top semi-pro clubs in California such as San Fernando Valley FC and Mesoamerica, and played a key role in LA10’s UPSL national quarterfinal run. With exceptional 1v1 ability, an eye for goal, and great passing, Jerry adds explosiveness to our offense. 

AV ALTA FC adds another exciting piece to the squad with the signing of winger Javier Mariona. A skilled dribbler and creative playmaker, the 20-year-old from Los Altos, California, has already made his mark internationally, representing both El Salvador and the Philippines. He recently helped the Philippines reach the ASEAN Championship semifinals.

Mariona previously played for Oakland Roots and Central Valley Fuego in the USL, proving himself as a rising talent.


Ortiz joins AV ALTA FC after a standout collegiate career at Loyola Marymount University, where he played a key role in helping LMU reach the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament in 2023. A product of the Barcelona Residency Academy, Ortiz’s composure in possession and tactical awareness will bring stability and quality to AV ALTA FC’s backline.

Djibril “DJ” Doumbia is a goalkeeper from Boulder, Colorado, known for his commanding presence and sharp reflexes between the posts. A product of the Barça Residency Academy in Arizona, he began his collegiate career at Old Dominion University, where he was a three-year starter and earned All-Conference honors. Doumbia finished his college career at San Diego State in 2024, where he was named WAC Goalkeeper of the Year and earned United Soccer Coaches Far West All-Region Second-Team recognition.  DJ now begins his professional journey with AV Alta FC, rounding out a strong goalkeeping unit and aiming to grow while playing a key role in the team’s success.  

Ilias Aoumaich, joining us from Pau FC in France’s Ligue 2. Ilias brings pace, skill, and finishing ability to add to our growing attack. A player with immediate impact and incredible potential, he joins AV ALTA to develop and chase his dreams of reaching the highest levels. 

Godwin Antwi from the University of San Diego. He adds pace, creativity, and attacking flair as he joins us for the first step in his professional football career.

Renden Thomas, from Newbury Park, California, has been called into the AV Alta FC First Team.

Developed at LAFC So Cal Youth. Renden earned Southwest ECNL Player of the Year honors. He later joined LAFC Academy, where he was a standout player with their U18s.

Currently verbally committed to UCLA, Renden now steps into the professional environment with AV ALTA FC to continue his development.

Our next signing is Los Angeles native Alfredo Ortiz a standout left back and captain at Cal, where he played under AV legend Leonard Griffin. He brings defensive steel, game intelligence, and creativity to our back line as he takes the first step in his professional journey.

AV ALTA FC has secured the signing of Erick Gonzalez, a center back from Reno, Nevada, known for his composure on the ball, defensive awareness, and technical ability.
Gonzalez joins AV Alta FC after two strong seasons in the USL with Lexington SC, where he logged over 1,500 minutes and established himself as one of the league’s top young defenders. His experience and versatility will bring stability and quality to AV Alta FC’s backline as he continues his rise in the professional ranks.

The former Union Omaha winger joins AV ALTA FC’s attack for the 2026 season. We’re excited to see his creativity and energy on the pitch.

A proven professional with an impressive international résumé, Collin arrives to the AV after playing in the first divisions of Jamaica, North Macedonia, Iraq, and Oman, along with caps in the Jamaican senior national team. A former Golden Boot winner in Jamaica’s top flight, he brings elite athleticism, experience, and goal scoring ability. Collin joins AV Alta to lead the line and spearhead a rejuvenated attack as we continue to build for the season ahead.

Desi Nelson, a 2008 GK, has been called into the First Team. Developed at LAFC So Cal Youth and Antelope Valley Futbol Club, Desi joined the inaugural AV ALTA FC Academy squad in Fall 2024. Last year, Desi trained with the First Team for a week where he impressed the technical staff, earning a full-time call-up on an academy contract. A standout performer at the Highland High Soccer Team, Desi now steps into the pro environment to continue his development on the pathway toward a collegiate or professional career.

Elliott, a 2010 CM from Santa Clarita, is the youngest first team call-up in AV Alta history. A standout in his youth career, Elliott developed with TFA and LA Galaxy, captaining both teams to MLS Next championships, before joining AV Alta Academy in 2025. He’s gained valuable international experience, competing against top European academies including FC Barcelona, Juventus, Ajax and Manchester City. Now entering the pro environment, Elliott looks to continue his development as he chases his dreams of reaching the top levels of world football.

 The signing of Cesar Bahena from the University of San Diego. Bahena was a standout in college, scoring over 20 career goals, earning multiple All-WCC honors, and helping lead USD to four straight conference titles. Known for his creativity and end product, he joins AV Alta as he takes the first step in his professional career.  

Alassane brings valuable experience at both club and international levels, having competed in the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations, the African Games, and the Francophonie Tournament. At the club level, he played a key role in Coton Sport FC’s Benin Premier League title win and featured in the CAF Champions League before joining AV ALTA FC.

Born and raised in the AV, Erik Hernandez Jr., a 2008 CM, returns to the First Team for his second season. Developed in the AV at Antelope Valley Futbol Club, Erik continued his journey with LAFC So Cal Youth before joining the AV Alta FC Academy where he became one of the first 3 call ups in club history. A standout performer and captain at Highland High School Soccer Team. Erik Jr is back in the pro environment to continue his development.

Academy captain and standout Juaquin Garcia is called back for his second season with the First Team. The 2007 CM, a product of Total Futbol Academy- AV and Littlerock High School Boys Soccer. He was part of the original AV ALTA FC Academy squad and continues to develop on his path toward a pro or college career.

Jullum a standout CB at UC Irvine, earning multiple All-Big West honors, a Big West Tournament Championship, and national recognition as one of the NCAA’s top defenders. He spent 2025 playing with some of the top semi-pro programs in SoCal including AMSG Futbol Club, So Cal United and Ventura Country Fusion. He now signs his first professional contract with AV ALTA FC, bringing defensive presence and technical quality to the back line.



Nick was a standout right back at Cal State Fullerton, starring for the Fullerton defense across multiple seasons and earning All-Big West Second Team honors. A versatile fullback known for his pace and defensive tenacity, he joins AV ALTA on his first professional contract.



Jose, a 2007 winger from the AV, earns his first team call-up on an Academy contract. Jose developed locally  with Antelope Valley FC and Albion SC Antelope Valley before joining AV Alta Academy, where he quickly established himself as a standout player during the 2025 season.

A dynamic winger known for his pace and finishing, Jose now takes the next step in his journey as he enters the professional environment. We’re proud to see another Antelope Valley talent rise through the pathway as Jose begins his pursuit of a professional career.
