LANCASTER, CA, December 9th, 2024 – AV ALTA FC is thrilled to announce the signing of its first-ever player, Miguel Ibarra. A proud native of the Antelope Valley, Ibarra brings with him a legacy of exceptional talent, professional experience, and a deep connection to the community as he returns home to lead the Club in its highly anticipated Inaugural Season in United Soccer League (USL) League One. Registration is pending league and U.S. Federation approval.

Ibarra started his soccer career in Lancaster before achieving success on the national and international stage. A former NASL MVP and U.S. Men’s National Team player, Ibarra has scored more professional goals and has the more international “Caps” than any player in the history of the AV. His signing not only marks a historic moment for AV ALTA FC but also serves as a testament to the Club’s mission of fostering local talent and uniting the community through the beautiful game.
